Advice please on strange design of front brake bolt - D4
2016 Graphite
Is there anything that I need to know before I remove this bolt? It’s one of the two that hold the caliper bracket to the car. The head is an unusual design. Must be like that for a reason. My guess is that there is either a special 23mm socket needed or its shape is due to the torque needed when reassembling, or both.
Also has it changed design from D3 to D4? 21mm to 23mm as well maybe?

You just need a normal multi point socket

Just check that they are not stretch bolts so need to be replaced.....
