D4 - Cranks then stalls - at a complete loss now
Hi all,
First time posting but hoping someone in here can help me.
Overview
Stuck in a bog in Scotland whilst working and rev'd the nuts off it trying to rock it out but eneded up needing to be pulled out.
Driving back from Scotland and lost all power when putting foot down on the accelerator and then all systems/power died and I had to coast to the side of the M1. low power and battery warning coming up and engine cranking but not firing up.
On recovery home I have tried to start a couple of times leading to it starting and then shaking the engine like it is trying to leave the atmosphere!
I have used a GAP IID tool and discovered the following faults:
P0627-13 (2 8) Fuel pump A control - circuit/open - General electrical failure - circuit open
P0628-11 (2 8) Fuel pump A control - circuit low - General electrical failure - circuit short to ground
My battery was also being drained in this period of time and had to be charged back up. (point to note that i have 1 light bar and 2 spotlights fitted also)
On looking on forums etc to see what was wrong it led me down checking fuel pressure at the valve by the engine and this was only showing 0.3bar.
I have now replaced the following:
Fuel filter
Water sensor and housing
Low pressure fuel pump (located in the fuel tank)
This I thought may have fixed the issue, I primed the system and tested the pressure at the same location and was receiving 0.6bar which apparently is the right pressure to be expected.
Tried to turn over the engine and it cranks over and almost runs and then dies. I then thought that it could have been a duff battery as this was again low so replaced with a new Bosch S5 battery but to no avail!
The only fault codes i now have on the GAP IID are:
B1163-15 (6c) - Left mirror heater output - general electrical failure - circuit short to battery or open
B10C5-24 (2A) Luggage compartment unlock pull switch - general signal failure - signal stays high
B113E-23 (2F) External luggage compartment release switch - gernal signal failure - signal stays low
and then some U codes also.
I dont know if these are an indicator of further electrical failure or something but i am now completely stumped on where to look next other than into a garage.
any help appreciated

Update
Ok so a small update incase this might help someone point me in the right direction.
When jump starting my D4 from another it then runs and idles (but rough) for around 1-2mins before choking up and dieing.
It would seem like its being starved of either air or fuel. I have a GAP IID tool so if anyone can recommend what live values to look at to maybe give me an idea of whats going on that would be greatly appreciated.Orkney Grey D4 SDV6 HSE <still>

If I were you I get your car to one of the trusted Independents you can find on here.
Sounds like some big problems with it.
Good luck getting it sorted..Jim

How deep was the bog? Might be worth checking the exhaust for damage or bog blockage in the rear silencers. Also worth checking the air filter and tank breather.Joe

Thanks for the reply guys, I've got it booked in to the local specialists on the 24th but im still trying to fix it myself if possible before then as i need it for work starting on the same date and dont really want to have to hire a vehicle.
The bog wasnt too deep but enough to bottom out, exhaust wasnt blocked at any point and everything seems ok. Dont happen to know where the engine breather is do you?Orkney Grey D4 SDV6 HSE <still>

An outside possibility but is there a chance water/crud from the bog got into the crank shaft sensor cavity?
Or, has the earth strap from the transfer box to the chassis been ripped off whilst extracting the car from said bog?
You should have a fault code pop up after two ign cycles.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Definitely a possibility and i will go and have a check. In terms of fault codes however i get nothing other than some U codes and that is about it. nothing from the engine or transmission ect.Orkney Grey D4 SDV6 HSE <still>

It will be there, you just need to cycle the ign/engine a few times and it should pop up. It has to, the system is designed that way. What are the "U" codes and from which module are they logged?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

You would think so but cycling the engine/ign a couple of times and there is no change on fault codes.
I have 2 faults fromn KVM-Keyless. B10C5-24 & U201F-31
1 from BCM-Body Control. B113E-23
1 from PDM-Passenger Door. B1163-15
This is all I have on my phone but nothing else related to powertrain or engine or such.Orkney Grey D4 SDV6 HSE <still>

Nothing obvious from that lot, make sure your battery is strong and above 12v, (12.6v) and check the earth straps especially the one on the t/box.
Repeat starting cycles until she coughs up the code/s.
What voltage is GAP reporting?yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
