Lesson learned

Well today after 2 + years she decides it was time have a little play.

Long story short. A year or so ago I needed to replace the ignition barrel and switch, no drama alarm was sounding randomly due to warn switch. Bought switch and lock along with matching passenger door key lock. Decided to replace the barrel and switch but would leave the passenger lock and do tomorrow. Shocked

Where is this going. Well today while at B&Q she decided she did not want to open on remote. Yep you've got it, replacement door lock in the glove box waiting to be fitted. Call to wife to pick me up to take me home to get original. This was quicker than try to explain to wife where in the shed the original was. I'm sure that anyone who has asked the wife to get something from the shed would understand this.

So lesson learnt, don't put off what can wait and be done tomorrow, eventually tomorrow will be too late Big Cry

Next post will be why will she lock but not unlock Rolling with laughter

Hope my Sunday misery will give a few a chuckle. Thumbs Up

So had half an hour earlier so decided to have a little look at why she would not unlock.

Plugged her in and nothing obvious to worry about. Central locking all working from inside the car. Would lock on the remote just not unlock. Took the key apart and all worked fine out of the case. Packed some card between the battery and casing and all good. Why she decided to play up only she will know but nice quick easy fix. Whistle
