Needing for some advice. My daughter is looking to go to Iceland with the boyfriend and they want to hire a small camper van to drive round the island. They are not looking to drive across the island off road,2wd only.
I’m looking at insurance options and to have no excess and cover any problems it’s adding £500 to the hire!!! There’s insurance included but has limitations. Has anybody any experience with car hire/insurance over there! They are looking at the camp easy company.
Thanks. Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

If the hire is taking place in Iceland then there are policies available here to cover the excess on the hired vehicle.

Not used them yet myself but these guys (ferry from Denmark to Faroes and on to Iceland) do all sorts of packages. Maybe worth giving them a call?
