Leaving spare key in car
Off to the continent later this week and this is the first keyless disco I’ve done it it. In previous cars I’ve just left the other key in the car somewhere in case I lose the main one, then its just a case of break a window and get the spare.
How does one leave a key in a keyless car though, is it possible at all?2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

I used to keep spare keys in my trucks, in the keysafes you can buy for domestic use.
I'd bolt them somewhere that wasn't obvious, and would make it difficult to attack with tools should someone figure out what they were, but never had them spotted.
It made life a lot less stressful, especially as Volvo trucks had a reputation for locking themselves!
Not sure a pouch would fit inside, but it has to be worth a try.

Good shout on the pouch, amazing how you can overlook what you use every day at home! Will give it a trial.2011 D4 SDV6 HSE

Isn't this one of the very few times a wife's handbag becomes useful?.

I put mine in a EMF pouch and hide inside the car. But have a normal key blade hidden to allow me to unlock the passenger door, much easier and cheaper than breaking a window, especially as I double lock mine.MY14 TDV6

Under the steering wheel there is a blank shroud that covers the steering column, it is held in position with two heavy duty push in/pull off clips, when removed there is sufficient space to store your Faraday pouch and Iid tool, just put a spot of grease on the clips to assist in removal as they require a lot of force to get them off if they haven't been off for a while. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
