Rear upper trunk lid/window

Hi all, new issue (for me at least).
Today when trying to open rear top lid it first opened in 1 position but could not get to 2 stage of lock=possible to open.
No error codes from GAP. Tryied to open with GAP and did not open so I suspect lock is stuck or jammed.
Question: how do I get in to the lock? Is the cover on inside jus to pull out,in to boot?
Best regards/johnny

No you don’t have to destroy anything. The switch is in the upper tailgate and the part you need to replace is in the lower tailgate.Search the forum, there is lots of advice and videos.

Found how to do on youtube.
However it seems that it is the actuator that is bad and not the lock.
Do you know the LR number for that part?
Thanks.
