All in car electronics stopped working, help!
Hi all,
I've got a 2010 D4 HSE.
I was attempting to correct the fuel tank range using GAP IID and found a "range" file that had options "scale 1" "Scale 2" etc. I swapped from scale 1 to scale 2 thinking this might alter my vehicle's perceived fuel range. It didn't. It just caused the infotainment system to stop working.
I've done a full factory backup without success and am a bit stuck.
When an ECU INFOS search is done, it gives the message "No data from ECU" for the audio amplifier, the ACC interface, the Digital Audio, the Navigation, the Satellite Radio and the Cell Phone ECUs.
It seems to me that there must be a single root cause, such as a fuse, but fuse #64 tests ok.
Any help would be much appreciated!

In cases like that I always try to do hard reset
If that solves nothing more in depth troubleshooting
Good luck

If by hard reset, you mean disconnecting the battery and holding the terminals together, I've tried that
It's the more in depth troubleshooting that I'm hoping for help with here
As for effects of what you did ... Drop Pat at GAP an email?.

Yes, It was asleep when I did the hard reset.
I've been talking with Pat, he's at a bit of a loss atm.

how long have you held terminals connected together?
I find 20 seconds plus is best

Check the CCF's and see if the relevant modules are still listed as "fitted", If not add them back to the list.
I had an issue recently where certain systems stopped working, it seems the car "forgot" these were fitted.
Re editing the CCF restored everything, just make sure you have a charger connected and you're at or above 12.5v before you start.
See how that goes. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I think I've done all that.
I can't see anything obvious that might be wrong. I presume I need to look in the complete untested CCF rather than the standard one?
Would anyone have a 2010 D4 HSE CCF list that I could compare to?

Check it again with a charger connected. Don't worry about the 2010 list, just add what you think should be there. If it doesn't exist anyway the car will ignore the request.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

SOLVED!
It was as I had feared - the CCF change had wiped all the firmware from the entire audio system. Thankfully, Pat at GAP IID came to the rescue with a complete audio system reflash that fixed it.

And as I have said on here in the past, there's the first lesson for anyone looking to buy a cheap diagnostic tool!
So now you're sorted and yet another feather in the hat for Pat@Gap.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

Basically go for GAP diagnostics and forget about cheap generics, but the posts were in other threads. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
