It's that time of year where people are probably setting up schedules etc.
My ALTOX HEATER app was working fine but navigation wasn't working and my schedule wouldn't work.
My wife got a new phone and was setting up the app and login was failing.
I messaged Altox and they responded very quickly even though it was late at night.
In simple terms with the new APP you have to register again, this suited me because the Hotmail account I was using before never generated any emails on their system.
I kept my old APP just so I could check settings.
These are the steps I took.
Download new APP
Register
Login to the APP using the details from the email
There is a message that says something like "Use SMS to generate settings" and looking at the fields it looks like that is for a new setup so don't do that if your device was set up previously
I tapped cancel and it then asked for the device id and the phone number.(if you don't know your device ID then text Settings2 to the mobile number the ID is at the top)
Once I had done that it all burst into life
It's lot easier and quicker to set up than the old APP IID PRO
