Question is, is the one for sale a clone / stolen and re-plated? Or was the burnt out one the clone.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Yeh, but have you seen those valeting videos on youtube, they can work wonders.Disco 3: Lotus Elise S1: Ferguson T20: Audi A2
the "uksalvage" link appears not to work but Autotrader is still live ... do hope that's not someone hiding info that might just be detrimental to a sale ?
If you go here: https://www.salvageauctions.io/results.php...amp;sort=3 And click on "click here to view" you get the original page back, albeit with a revised link. Looks like they time-out the links to stop people permalinking their pics.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
Interesting update. A chap who says they are the one selling the car has popped up to say the burnt out one is the clone. There's a bit of a complex story about the car going to Ireland, then the bloke in Ireland deciding he didn't want to pay the duty once it had been there long enough to need paying, so he sent it back and.....
Well, make of it what you will.
Quote:
we sent it to Ireland in late 2019 then Brexit kicked in making it have to pay 26k in import duty and tax. Then covid do nothing in 2020 we brought it back to England Sep 2021 we find out it's taxed and motd in April 2021 ( when it was in Ireland) someone applied for a logbook possibly knowing it was in Ireland and cloned it taxed it, insured it, motd it, insured it, and burnt it. We have had a 6 month nightmare with the police, dvla, insurances, Experian, HPI etc. Bottom line is the car we have advertised is 100% the right car.
