Battery issue 2014 with start/stop

Hi all,

Bit of an odd one....

My battery is exactly 1 year old. It has a 4 year warranty and is the Exide 95ah 850cca AGM.

I have been getting "low battery please start engine" as soon as I unlock every day. The car cranks fine.

Resting voltage is 12.2-12.4v

running voltage is 14.6/7v

immediately after cranking and start up it reads 11v...then raises to the running voltage.

To me, the above figures seem fine? Does anyone disagree?

The start/stop battery reads 13v at all times. The start/stop hasn't functioned since the low battery warning started last week.

I have reset everything after recharginging overnight with the IID (both main battery and secondary)

I'm still getting the low voltage warning!!

Is the battery likely to be cooked after 1 year? Anything else I should be checking?

Thanks for any advice.

Smile

Hi, while my battery is a little older than yours, maybe 18 months, on occasion has been doing the same, especially if I've been working with the back open and running the internal lights. However, if I take the car for a good run, with some high speed sections, I find that everything is sorted and S/S starts operating properly and no 'PLease start engine' messages.
