Sat Nav Screen Freezing after Quick restart of vehicle

Hi all,

I recently purchased my 05 D3 HSE V8 G4 3 weeks ago and have had this issue since I bought it, basically I can get in the car and start it while the engine is cold and the sat nav turns on and allows the stereo to output sound, then I can stop at a petrol station, pull the key out so the screen goes black and then put the key back in approx 5 minutes later and restart the vehicle. The sat nav will then freeze on the land rover logo until I park the car long enough (approx 20 minutes) without the key in the ignition and then will restart properly again. Its pretty frustrating as I get no sound output from the radio while its frozen.

I have read other posts regarding this issue and they say:
-Bluetooth module faulting, my D3 doesn't have any phone buttons and the radio says no phone fitted so I'm guessing I don't have the bluetooth module?
-Battery, my D3 had received a new battery April 2021 so don't think this is the issue

I have also tried a hard reset on 2 occasions which is a temporary fix.

Is it possible to MOST loop out the sat nav screen so I can still use the screen (when it decides to work) but still get sound output no matter the state of the sat nav?

Any ideas PLEASE???

As you say loop out the screen for a few days (I doubt you can use it),’ and see if you get sound all the time. If you do, you know it’s the screen.

Otherwise loop out the amp. You won’t have sound. But try for a few
Days
