In tank Low pressure fuel pump

Hi all i’m in the middle of changing my low pressure fuel pump in the tank it’s been a few days since ordering the part .. And they have two pipes and not sure which one should be connected to the new pump I have the old pump on top of the tank to show the connector that I’m on about is it the pipe with a connector or is it the pipe with no connector ??? As both types of pipe fit

I’ve spoke to a Land Rover specialist and he has confirmed that the one I have circled goes to the teepees but I still don’t know what the other pipe is ? ?
