Engine heater runs all the time. Ambient temperature related

The engine heater runs all the time. The ambient temperature is showing ---. Are the issues related. Changed the sensor but no change. This issue first occured when battery was disconnected and drivers seat was removed for repair. On refit the temperature was no longer showing.

Where do I find the following devices and connections so I can esnure it is not a wiring or earth issue?
C3126-1 C3127-1
C2443-6 C2444R-6
C1629-13
SJ550
Automatic Temp Control D243

Also as a matter of interest what does the Sensor for air quality T306 actually measure and what impact can that have on the vehicle?
Thank you

The heater runs as soon as engine started?

You could disconnect it’s large plug as a work around.
Yes it’s related.

Air quality sensor only fitted in Japan and automatically selects air recirculating for climate
