[Wanted] Eject button for a D3 head unit. |
|
I've resisted posting this since I bought the car in 2017, but I've finally cracked.
As far as I can tell, every head unit for the D3 uses the same eject button, but this one is a 6CD-465.
The nearest I can find is a wrecker here with a single CD unit that looks like someone put a crowbar through it, but the eject button is ok and they are asking > $200.
If someone has one floating around or has a lead on one for less than 20 quid and can put it into a padded bag to Perth Australia for not much more then I'm interested. It'll save me using the menu to eject all the disks, then put back the ones I didn't want to eject and it'll fill that hole in the dashboard that taunts me and constantly whispers "buy a 3D printer".
Save me from myself and the wrath of my wife, and don't make me buy a 3D printer.

Located with assistance of a generous donation.
Thanks!
I might have a look when it arrives and see how hard it'd be to replicate. Give my unemployed mate with a 3D printer something to occupy his time rather than collecting C64 and Amiga paraphernalia.
