Chirping Sound

Just noticed that the D4 has started making a chirping sound over the top of the normal engine sound. Is it belt related?

The closest thing I can compare it to, is the sound that crickets make a night.

I have captured the sound on this short video

Any thoughts or guidance appreciated.

Aux belt tensioner. Does it tend to go away after a few miles?

Whilst it is a little intermittent it is more evident than not. It doesn’t fade away after mileage and is there whether moving or stationary.

Spray some water on the tensioner if it goes away or changes tune that's the culprit. Thumbs Up
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
