12 Volt socket in the boot. |
|
Hello
Short version:
Disco 4 2012 SE, pluged my Engel MT60 fridge into the rear 12v, unplugged it, now it (12v socket) has lost power, checked fuses (couldn't locate a 3rd) but both still intact. Ordered a new relay but is there anything else I can check whilst i await its arrival?
Need to add that the word multi meter sends shivers down my spine as i have no idea how to use one.......
Thanks for any help provided.

Silly question - have you checked the fuse?
see you have - these have different fuses though so worth checking them all.
Could you get the unit out to see if the 12V is actually plugged in? Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

Yea it was working fine for a min we were checking it, as we’re getting ready for a road trip.
Also had various other bits running off the socket in the past. 🤦♂️🤷♂️
Never easy lol.

It’s only on when ignition on though … you’ll get a minute or two when it’s off but no more … have you factored that in? (I’m sure you have) Stolen - D4 Loire Blue
