12 Volt socket in the boot.

Hello

Short version:
Disco 4 2012 SE, pluged my Engel MT60 fridge into the rear 12v, unplugged it, now it (12v socket) has lost power, checked fuses (couldn't locate a 3rd) but both still intact. Ordered a new relay but is there anything else I can check whilst i await its arrival?
Need to add that the word multi meter sends shivers down my spine as i have no idea how to use one.......

Thanks for any help provided.

Joe

How are you testing the socket?

Silly question - have you checked the fuse?

see you have - these have different fuses though so worth checking them all.

Could you get the unit out to see if the 12V is actually plugged in?

Yea it was working fine for a min we were checking it, as we’re getting ready for a road trip.
Also had various other bits running off the socket in the past. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Never easy lol.

It’s only on when ignition on though … you’ll get a minute or two when it’s off but no more … have you factored that in? (I’m sure you have)
