Gear Shift Knob easily rotates

All,

The gear shift knob on my LR3 can rotate left and right without much effort. Other than that it still works, I can shift into all gears just fine.

Anyone else have this issue? How did you fix it? ikonw8

Is it the knob or the stick that moves? If the knob, try pulling it hard upward in neutral to dislodge it and then put it back. It’ll require some force so watch out to not get hit by it. I’m guessing it is not seated properly somehow.

Thanks.... I gave that a try, but no change. It pulls out with some force, and seems to seat back in properly... but it can still turn about. ikonw8
