Disco Body / RRS Chassis

Having read DMs article re putting an SDV8 in a Disco, has anyone looked into the possibility of putting a Disco body on a RRS chassis, to achieve the same end result.

I believe the RRS chassis is a little shorter than the disco, I think the wheelbase is shorter.

RR Sport chassis is about 14cm shorter than Disco3/4.

As above, which is a shame, although still theoretically possible with enough time/money. You’d have to do a cut n’ shut job on the Disco body.

I wonder if the D5 body would fit on an L405 FFRR chassis? Not that you’d want to do such a thing. Laughing

I compromised on boot space and only 5 seats and bought a used SDV8 FFRR. It’s not as practical or versatile as a D4, nothing is! It does have a few positives though, including being cheaper to run now it’s 5 years old. Very Happy
