D4 - Recommended service providers in the North West (UK)
Hi all,
I have recently purchased a D4 Graphite from Vertu LR Bolton.
Can anybody recommend any independent LR specialists in the North West (or Lancashire)
The nearest to me is K Motors in Leyland but don't know if anybody has any experience of these previously.
I do have a years warranty from VLR but I would like to begin the search for a reliable service provider
for future needs!

Welcome to the forum and hope you enjoy your new D4.
There was Flack ….. but unfortunately he’s recently retired.
I’m sure someone more local will be along to advise....... always on the road less travelled 🚧

Don't know if it's too far for you but I use Ian Barclay in New Ferry for my old D4 and now my L405. Always very very busy with all LR products which speaks for itself. The garage itself needs a good tidy out which drives my OCD insane but great guys, very knowledgeable.D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Thanks James, I don't work too far away from there so Ian is definitely an option thanks.

Elite Cars Independant Jaguar & Landrover specialist in Stockport, if that's not too far away.
I've used them a few times and couldn't fault the work

Another vote for Ian Barclay. Having tried (and been disappointed with) a couple of LR specialists a bit closer to me, I've used Ian for my last service and a couple of other small jobs, and been very impressed so far.
Land Ranger Services have a good reputation, although only bought parts from them myself. Stockport, Atherton and Middlewich..

Used Land Ranger for a number of years with the two Disco's, family have used them before with our previous Land Rovers and always been happy with the service and pricing.
