FBH testing (sorry again and again)

I connected PIN 2 directly from FBH plug (without car connection) and 12V to a test tool
https://www.ebay.de/itm/334172069200

I could get information and error codes using W-Bus device in Webasto software.

The car it self wasn't connected to the FBH during the test.

I got error codes which could be deleted.

But I couldn't start the heater manually, of course we have 12C° outside.

I also got popping up windows with code "NAK ....."

After closing the laptop and going to the office, all information are gone so I'll have to do it again.

Do I have issues with my adapter?

Or what's next to do?

Hi,

Not fully understanding when you say "car not connected to fbh" from memory you connect into the back of the fbh plug so it is still connected and then should be able to run it from the software

Thumbs Up

I disconnected the plug from the car and so I easily could connect pin 2 to the adaptor

If you remove that 8 pin plug, there is also no connection to the dosingpump, so the heater can and would never start…

But why “test” it that way in the first place? What is the reason?
 Best regards
Harold

Thanks for your help………

And the error codes were written down before deleting them i presume?

It Can be worth mentioning them so we can help diagnosing the possible issues..

Many thanks so far
I'll try to get to pin2 together with the original plug and see what I can read with the software.
