| High Frequency Noise (whistling) when engine is cold. |

I noticed a NEW NOISE on my 2008 D3 HSE Aut. (87000km).
- High Frequency (about 8000Hz at 2000rpm)
- only engine (RPM) dependend, not gear related.
- noticeable in gear and also in neutral
- not very loud, you can only recognize it when sitting in the vehicle
- only when engine is cold
- noticeable from low idling rpm up to 3500 (it is probable still there but the frequency gets to high, to recognize), but not changing in loudness through the rpms
Any Idea ?
It does not seem to be the turbo charger, as this noise is much louder and differs in loudness depending on the rpm, but perhaps I'm wrong.
