Limp mode help please!

Hello all

We have a 12 D4 HSE 148,490 km that has gone into limp mode for the first time yesterday whilst out on a long drive Sad

We’ve had a nightlong suspension issue for around 12 months that our local garage hasn’t been able to diagnose, but I think it’s to do with a ride height sensor?

When we press the suspension down button we would occasionally get an Amber suspension fault, a reset of the ignition would normally clear this, but occasionally you would get the Red warning for around 2 mk utes and then it would clear!

I’ve just looked at the current fault codes and this is what I am showing:

VIN: SALLAAAG5CA624312
L319 - Discovery 4 2012
Vehicle scanned on 17-10-2022 09:48

( on 06-10-2022 10:50:53 at 147508 km )

U0300-55 (2F) Internal control module software incompatibility - System programming failure - is not configured
( on 08-10-2022 13:05:19 at 147572 km )

I cleared the codes and then pressed the ride height adjuster and received these codes:

Hi G thank you for the reply. Is there anything I can check to confirm this?

What sort of a job is this to complete?

Ok so I’ve checked the compressor and there is a leak from the blue pushfit. I’ve decided to rebuild the drier so dropped the compressor down to get to the drier release screw on top.

I’ve bought a drier rebuild kit from landy air on eBay so wish me luck!

I don’t seem to have a crack in the drier lid though, but I’ll replace it anyway!

Thank you! I’ll let you know how I get on! If this doesn’t work it’s a compressor ….. eeeek!!

The compressor hums away, so hopefully we are all good!!
