[For Sale] D3 TDV6 SE 2009
For sale is my 59 plate D3 that I've owned and cherished for the last 8 years.
Zermatt Silver. 180,000 miles. 2 keys. Rubber mats. It's been serviced every year by our local garage who have done all the maintenance on it too. They have stamped the service book with every service apart from this year for some reason (I didn't check). I will call them to see if they still have it on their records.
It's been on many adventures and family holidays with us. It's towed the horse trailer to many shows and done some light green laning. We bought a D4 in spring and I was hoping to keep the D3 as the runaround/workhorse. I'm a bit gutted to let it go, but SWMBO has put her foot down and insisted I get a smaller runaround as the second car .
It's just passed it's MOT. It had 2 new tyres and new brake lines. Very good condition, with a few age relates marks. No corrosion. Two problems that the new owner might want to sort are:
Reverse parking sensors on the blink. Sometimes work, but usually just a long beep. It's not bothered me as I just turn them off when reversing.
The drivers side rear door window tint has rippled and now has a crease in it which makes it look like a crack in the glass. These are aftermarket tints (not done during my ownership) but I'm sure that it a cheap fix for one window.
I've made a few subtle Mods to it in my time of ownership (which I have documented on these forums, see link below)
EGR Vales blanked and software updated.
De-tangoed Zennon headlights with LED rings.
Black D4 rears.
Narpy Grill.
ProSpeed sliders.
LR rigid Mudguards.
RHS Spare Wheel protector.
4X4 info activated.
Waxoyled some time back now.
Re-trimmed steering wheel.
Removable tow bar changed to a fixed tow bar by LR under Q393 service action.
Disco 4 style Side Vent Grille.
Sill Tread Plates.
Interior lighting to LED's.
20" Stormers powdercoated
