IID Tool BT on L538 (Evoque) Ingenium Petrol

Hi,

I use IID Tool for several year on my D3 and it is fantastic.

Now i bought an Evoque (L538) with Ingenium Petrol engine and i'm unable to connect with IID Tool.

When i try to connect i get "No connection with High Speed CAN".

My IID Tool is updated with firmware 3.0.

Is IID Tool compatible with my car ? In IID Tool support page it says it is, but i'm not being able to connect it.

Thanks !

Interested as I am picking up a epace next week and wondering if my gap tool will work.

It might be worth checking what version of the tool you have. I think a gen 2 will not work, the gem 3 might?

Disco 3 - currently in bits

no conn to high speed can only means your tool is not properly touching all the pins on OBD port

try to connect not pushing it all the way and check the pins if they are thinner than normal or damaged or bents in any way

I had the same but not pushing IDTool all the way into the connector does the job

I tried connecting again, not completely, completely, many ways, even with an extension cable, no lucky. Now its saying "No connection to high speed CAN" and "Noconnection to medium speed CAN". Strange that i tried OBDLink MX i have and it connects fine for basic readings.

I’m sure they said the G3 would be required for the newer post 2017 vehicles. Not the G2.

That’s weird. Are there two versions of the website?

https://www.gap-diagnostic.com/products/iidtool/

Is where I got that screenshot.

Suggest a ticket to support.

I got it in the same place. I think your screenshot is just unaligned because of screen size.
