Which oil filter?

Sorry, really basic question here. Going to do an oil change on our D4 that we have now owned for nearly 6 months.

Shall i bother getting an OEM oil filter which means either paying delivery or driving 20 mins each way to a dealer.
Or
Are are the options are Euros fine?
Eg: Bosch, Mann, Mahle?

Normally i would just buy a good quality option that is available conveniently. Just worried about the inevitable engine explosion.

Thanks

You can buy original oil filters relatively cheaply online . https://www.duckworthparts.co.uk/landrover...-sdv6.html
there you go £10.54

Thanks, that is cheap actually. Just pains me to then pay 7 quid for shipping. Not the money but the principal.

Just shop online ! You have in UK the best dealers for Land Rovers parts.
The shipping costs will always be less than the fuel wasted to go here and there to dealers that have no stock !

Both Mahle and Mann have a good rep. But you can get by with a WiX one TBH (WiX is a budget brand for Mann). Thumbs Up

Thanks all. I ended up ordering a couple of original ones from Duckworths on Saturday. Annoyingly still showing order processing. If they are not here by the weekend will just grab one from Euros.
