Dashcams
Hi
I've got a Nextbase dashcam which I stopped using as the suction cup kept failing and the camera fell off the windscreen. However, think it would be worth trying again, given the number of idiots on scooters and unlit Ninja cyclists.
What do others do to mount their dashcams? Part of the issue is the mottled black surround at the mirror - suction on that surface is poor, but it's the ideal location for the camera.

My Nextbase camera is on that black part of the screen, to the left of the mirror. I use the adhesive mount. It's never come off. I think suction mounts are for temporary use.Richard

The Viofo mount with GPS is fastened with 3M adhesive tape. I put it also in the “dead” black area behind the mirror. It won’t come off.

I have a NextBase 522gw that came with a 3M sticker mount, it has been on for two years without budging a bit. Still very strongly adhered now.
