Upgrade Denso to Bosch sat nav screen ?
Has anyone ever upgraded from the Denso sat nav to the later Bosch system? Coulnd't fin anything anywhere...

Bump. I’m interested in this too. I have a MY2010 with the denso system. I’m keen to get CarPlay integrated but the options for denso are limited and very expensive. If I can fit a Bosch system then there are plenty of options.

Yes and No!
That post is putting a LR4 Denso screen in a LR3, but does look like you can retain the Climate Timer menu or configure it. Would take a little longer than 5 mins which is what it would be if you could use the GAP tool like the LR4, but you do get the better sat nav etc with the later unit. Plus with all the cars reaching end of life together with snapped cranks early retirement, there must be a large pool of used spares looking for an after life
