That's a lot of money for a car with a list of issues that long. Are that that desirable?Richard

That's not a scary list at all - all doable at home. I do sometimes crave a V8 but I think I'd end up homeless at Christmas if I brought another car home... 2022 BMW i4 M50. Bought Oct 2022. 10,200 miles and counting...
2014 BMW 435d convertible. Bought July 2021. 58,000 miles and counting...
2005 Discovery 3 HSE Auto. Bought Feb 2019. 169,000 miles and counting...
2009 Freelander 2 XS Manual. Bought Sep 2013. SOLD Aug 2021 (already regretted!)

You could find a Bonatti V8, quick bit of reg juggling and she’d be none the wiser.

I picked up a V8 D3 recently to replace the wife's tdv6 she thought the sc sport ok but to small for her/our needs.
It's almost ready for her as her daily driver.
Iv seen these on the tube with much higher milage LR3 state side obviously.
And your right it's not a scary list at all doable at home on the drive

You’re probably looking at around 1000 eur/gbp all in all to fix it. A radiator is cheap as is the heater core as new. Some lights. Adjust EPB to start with, replace shoes and all the small bits. A set of new wheels from the tire forum here.
Easy peasy
Your time is, of course, free.

Looks like the tin worm has got stuck into it, but I'm sure someone will get blinded by the V8 sticker and it will sell.

The rear sills are still fixable. Many have fixed worse according to pictures here and on FB. Of course if it looks all like that…
Nobody’s yet suggesting to strip it and sell the parts

im very tempted, it is the rust that worries me, especially if it has lived most of its life on the coast and been used to launch boats.
