I have a problem with the left outside powerfolding mirror passenger side if in Uk.
Mirror travels to far and hitting against the window glass while the right side mirror stops nicely before contact and i guess it is how it should be.
When unfolding it returns ok.
I guess the motor is torque sensing and stopping when it meet some kind of abnormal resistance like when reaching the endpoints or held back by hand or frozen stuck by ice obstructions.
When taken apart i cant see any micro switches or any obvious end stoppers exept when it folds out it meets the resistance from the pedestrian saftey that push away when hitting something and the motor cant overcome that force and stops nicely and correct when unfolding.
Nowhere on fks Gap tool can i see that it can be programmed by fks counting turns on motor and then stop so there must be something that suppose to stop the movement but maybe broken off.
Anybody had the same problem and actually got it to work?
