PLUTO

PLUTO (PipeLine Under the Ocean) was an amazing achievement, documented extremely well at the time in this film. I found it fascinating, anyway!

Eris, of course, was the reason for Pluto being demoted from planethood. Also, pub quiz factoid, Eris is the most massive known object in the Solar System that hasn't been visited (even if just a fly-by) by a human-made probe. Thumbs Up

Yeah, but he has also done a huge amount to educate people about the Universe, so on balance he gets a gold star from me. Thumbs Up
