Saw on twitter someone got pulled with a plate with fake mud attached.

But it was a private plate so why buy it for exclusivity then hide it??

Oh the yoof of today 🤣

That’s pristine compared to mine at the moment (but I do keep the lights and reg plate clean) Laughing

Great way to get a random pull from plod. If the plate is unreadable and / or the lights covered in grot, that's all the excuse they need. Drive from the pub and you've given them an excuse to pull you and then give you the test. You can also get fined for having a plate that can't be read.

Even when the rest of it looks like a rolling muck heap, the lights and plates are kept clean. Thumbs Up

I wonder if there's a vortex / eddie created there with the aerodynamics and the wheel which means a lot of crud gets deposited at that spot? But saying that, the whole car does look plastered.

Washing my lights and plates front and rear every day on both cars is pretty much standard in the Do$h household. Bucket of soapy water and a soft brush always in the bin store at the top of the drive for just that purpose.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.
