Roof bar removal help
Hey guys. Looking for some help to remove what I think are OEM roof bars without the key.
I bought the car in 2021 and it didn't have the roof bar key. Not a problem until I tried fitting my roof box today and the bars are too far apart so I need to reposition the front bar further back.
Are there any tricks to remove without damaging? I've looked at ordering a replacement key but there aren't any numbers on the lock face.

Hi, there should be a number on the lock, n208 or similar, they're the same as Thule bars and the replacement keys are available on ebay. Hope that helps.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Go to a locksmith and see if they can open them and cut you a key.

There's no number on the lock to order a key sadly.
Why didn't I think of a locksmith haha!? There's one living a few doors away from me....will give them a go before I get the drill out!

See if anyone living locally has either LR or Thule bars and see if their key will fit... long shot but worth a go! I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
