Pirelli Scorpion Zero or Michelin Latitude Tour HP

Since I am living in Norway I use two tyre sets; winter and summer. Now looking for new summer tyres. Talking 255/55 -19. My driving is 90% + on asphalt.

After calling around to different retailers in Oslo I am down to Pirelli Scorpion Zero or Michelin Latitude Tour HP. Both of them priced at NOK 10 000 for all four. Further I have concluded that A/T tyres will be to noisy for my use. If I was doing more gravel and off-road adventures it would have been the tyre of choice.

What is the pros and cons of the Scorpion and Latitude tyres, and which one do you recommend?

Thank you for advice Smile

My pierelli scorpions died at a disgusting 15000 miles. All michelins I have had (on other land rovers, not D3) wore extremely well - 45000 miles on my last set and I only changed them due to perishing sidewalls and not because they were totally worn out.

for longevity Michelin, got Synchrones and after 25 000 miles still looking nearly new.

However the Pirellis will give you better steering feel if you prefer that. Thumbs Up
end of an era ....... maybe a Defender when it appears.......
