Crack in instrument cluster lens
Has anyone experienced this before?
It was very small crack for a long time and now just keeps going!
Anyone know if I can just buy the ‘glass’ bit or is it a trip to eBay?
CheersIf things were meant to be easy, then I will soon complicate them....
Please note...
Anything I say is only from my personal experience and knowledge..
I don't assume to know everything, and know there is a lot I don't know..
But then I could be talking .. O

The exact same thing happened in my sport you can just buy the plastic glass but it was more expensive than a sh cluster so I didn't bother.
Mite be worth looking for sh cluster and swopping the lense over your self

Try a small plastic fabricator who makes acrylic display covers. With a Winsor Newton series 7 size 0 or 1 brush, bleed in some dichloroethane solvent, used to join acrylic. It will weld the join, not as good as originally. Just get the very tip of the brush on the crack, don't brush the surface of the acrylic. You want the capillary action to drawn the solvent into the crack. It will be a lot less visible. It should stop cracking further, but the join will be a bit fragile so don't go pushing it around.Visitor - Freelander owner
