D4 Front parking sensors... |
|
Hello again.
I now have a 2015 D4. All seems good and operating well. One issue I am trying to get my head around is the front parking sensors, they seem to switch off every time the vehicle is restarted and I need to reactivate them by physically pressing the button when parking. The rear ones work as I would expect - is there a setting I'm missing?
Thanks in advance.

They changed the functionality, to prevent the beeping bothering you.

Ah, ok. Thanks. So is there a way to set it to be always active? Or does one need to press the button every time you need to use it? The rear sensors operate when reverse is selected.
Thanks again.

They should work if you have been reversing a few seconds before I believe?
But if you drive into a parking space you need to turn them on.

I’ve never ever turned mine on, they come on automatic, but I do believe you have to reverse to switch them on and as mine is garaged every night and I have to reverse out there is nothing visible to say they are on! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
