Seat leather retrim/repair place?

Does anyone know of a reputable place that would replace a panel on the base part of a seat? Happy to send the base away to get done.. a local place quoted £400 for a single panel and I’d have to wait two months which is rather taking the Michael! I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Thanks for the pointer Moo, got a quote back today and I must say I’m shocked! Whistle Was expecting around £90-£100 but they were the cheapest so far at £250 plus vat..

Does anyone know of anywhere a little less expensive? Wink I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

Would it not be worth looking for a second hand replacement? Maybe from a non running vehicle being broken for spares? 2005 Disco3 HSE Auto 😁

Shocked You'd get a decent second hand full seat for that Big Cry

I've the same problem with the torn/worn seat. can't find a reasonable answer for it anywhere. A happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.

Try Nationwide Trim in Redditch, normally have LR leather in stock.

Well through word of mouth and recommendation of a friend I finally found someone locally that can repair the seat and the plus points are:

She can do it immediately
I can drop it off and collect it within 48 hours
And the total cost including materials and labour is only £115, roughly 1/4 of the first quote I got.. so it pays to shop around, and if anyone else needs this doing drop me a note and pass on the details.

I’ll post up before and after photos once done I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
