[For Sale] IDCORE Wireless apple CarPlay/Android interface.
I purchased this for over £500 for my 2012 Discovery 4, I fitted it and used it for maybe a couple of weeks then sold the car so it’s been sat doing nothing. Everything works as it should. It’s a fantastic bit of kit which really upgrades the system.
Here are a few key features from their website…..
Full wireless/wired CarPlay functionality for iPhone 5 or later.
Full wireless/wired Android Auto functionality for compatible Android phone models.
Screen mirroring function for iPhone and Android phones.
Use your favourite phone apps for GPS navigation (Google Maps, Waze, Apple Maps) and be notified of the live traffic information
Allows handsfree calling and messaging
Voice control via Siri and Google Assistant
Play music from your favourite phone apps. Music comes out from your Land Rover factory audio system.
Can be connected via both Bluetooth or USB port (included in the kit) to keep your phone charged at the same time
The USB port included can also accept USB flash drive to play music and video
Touch control using original factory touch screen
Easy to install. Connects behind the infotainment drive in glovebox – all connections are plug and play.
We provide detailed installation instructions and all special tools required.
Everything is included including full instructions. Sent by insured and tracked delivery.
Looking for £300 for this.

Well worth it.... I have had this for over a year and it works well.
Brings the Disco up to date... whilst keeping the oem look....well worth the money.
Snap this up someone! A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

Really easy to fit, just a bit of trim removal and then simply unscrew the screen and job done, all the instructions are included. It really is a diy job.

Not 100% sure to be honest, I had it in a D4. I’ll see if I can find out.

The spec says 2011-2015 so looks like it’s D4 & Rangerover within those years.

Edit: Ignore, just seen your reply above
Was asking if it would fit a 2010 Discovery 4 unit.
I would be interested if it fitted my 2016 D4 Landmark - registered 03/2016.

if it has the 7" Bosch touchscreen it fits.
The d3 had a denso iirc and that requires a different box. They do sell them but at full price.
This one fits all 7"Bosch so that's everything to the end of the D4 certainly facelift upwards.
it took me about an hour to fit for info. Any doubts... look on their website.A mod a week until I have nothing to improve or add.

Afternoon,
Can anyone tell me if you can still access the other menus in the original system such as timed climate, 4x4 screen and does the reverse camera still work? Basically are there any downsides to fitting one of these?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers PJ

I have installed this one and I can still access the original menus, 4x4, timed climate etc. What it does is replace the LR satnav effectively with CarPlay. Works for me, I had the android large screen ones but could not get on with it, too many compromises. there may be better ones out there now, but I was done with it.
