Very cheap tent.. £55 with code

Just bought one of these as a spare/just out of interest - if you use code PXCAMP50 it's just £55! next day delivery around £6. I also bought a huge load of stuff sacks and a titanium mug, also half price, same code

I can't comment on the tent's quality but it looks more than fine for that price

Enjoy

Looks very similar to the Alpkit Tetri, although a little lower at 100cm vs 110cm so sitting up in it may be a challenge for some. I like that it's an outer pitch first too, although I can't work out if you can pitch the inner once, then pack it away with the inner already attached, which would be even better!

I may just grab one of these Thumbs Up

I'll post a review once it arrives, not sure how long the code is around for. I thought it looked similar to Alpkit too.

For the price I think it's worth a punt even if my girls just end up using it on campsites etc. ... If it's deemed too crap for the hill

That and torches.... Whistle Rolling with laughter

When I was up on Glyder Fach looking across at Tryfan on Saturday I found myself idly wondering what it would be like to spend the night up there. I've been looking to grab a backpacking tent for a while, and while this is a little heavy, for the money it's got to be worth a punt!

I wish you hadn't mentioned torches... I just jumped on the Olight site to find a "flash sale" including a torch (Mini Marauder) that I'd been thinking about for a while was "40% off"... two other torches and £300 later Big Cry
I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

You’ll need a porta-ledge for Tryfan, not a tent Laughing

Some nice quiet flat spots near to Lyn Bochlwyd or futrther up into Nameless Cwm Thumbs Up

If I'd have known so many people were after tents I'd have listed my North Face Mountain 24 on here Laughing Only used a few times and unlikely to be used again (one of the times it was used strangely enough, was a stormy night at Lyn Bochlwyd) Shocked

And no this isn't North Wales... far too dry Laughing bought in the days when TNF made proper outdoor gear and not just fashion statements like now!

Dam you I’ve just ordered both the two man tents to try for my daughter.

Not bad for £110 Laughing
Its not the height of the fall but the sudden stop at the bottom that hurts!!

You could always pop over and have a look... although orange isn't much good for hiding next to Dels (fast diminishing) wood pile Laughing
