Cell Phone/Blue Tooth Problem

I have been having a problem with my cell phone operation through the LR3’s Bluetooth system. People that I talk with report that the signal they receive either has a strong echo, sounds tinny, has an intermittent squeal, and or static. The incoming signal to the LR3 is fine.

I have tried two different cell phones (Motorola E-815 and Samsung SCH-i760) with the same results. My cellular service is with Verizon (USA).

Any comments or suggestions?

Sometimes people calling me complain of an echo (the usual complainant is SWMBO). But it sounds fine at my end. Seems more problematic with my Blackberry handset than it does with my Samsung phone. Turning the volume down in the car seems to help.

Bottom line is the echo is at their end, my end sounds fine - so I don't give a Censored Laughing

It's because you are speaking to a microphone somewhere in the roof and the D3 has such a huge interior Thumbs Up that you sound as though you are in large enclosed space Laughing

Try turning the volume down to no more than level 19, that should remove the echo.
