D4 Bonnet Decal - recommendations on a supplier?
Evening All!
I'm liking the idea of a matte black bonnet decal on my 2016 Santorini Landmark. Can anyone recommend a supplier?
I should add....
My preference would be for an air-release vinyl.
I'd prefer to avoid the PowerfulUK version.
I was going to order from Bailey Graphics until reading some very poor feedback.

I got my D3 one from Powerfuluk and it was excellent quality with no issues fitting it, it's been on about a year and still looks like new.Discovery 4 GS 2009 Auto Stornoway Grey

Just not what I want.
I don't want the washer nozzle cut-outs, and I'd prefer air-release vinyl. You apply them without having to lubricate the surfaces - I have experience of applying these and I personally think it's a much simpler application. The OEM LR version uses air-release vinyl.

This one can be ordered without the washer jets cut out:
It's from Australia but feedback from UK buyer looks good. Not sure if it's air release though.Discovery 4 HSE - Aintree Green

2 weeks of waiting and the bonnet decal arrived this afternoon. The excitement didn't last very long....it's completely unusable. Looks like the cardboard tube it arrived in was has been bent in half at some point on its journey, and the half a dozen FRAGILE stickers seem to have attracted the wrong type of attention.2016 Discovery Landmark

Ah. Sorry to hear that.
Think I'll order my 110 and daughters D3 from Powerful UK and see how I go.

Another update on the bonnet decal ordered from Black Decal.
The replacement decal arrived yesterday, approximately 3 weeks after the original arrived badly damaged. Super excited to get it fitted having had 3 weeks to paw over the fitting instructions
It quickly became apparent that the cutouts within the decal to accommodate the washer nozzles were incorrectly spaced - when the cutout was perfectly positioned over one nozzle, it was some 10mm off on the other! This would be sufficient to render the item completely unusable, but there were also 4 very fine parallel surface score lines running from top to bottom. The packaging was undamaged this time, so the likelihood is that it left Black Decal with the surface scoring.
There was also a smaller but deeper score which Marvin of Black Decal insists I did when installing - I absolutely didn't!!!! Not that it makes a difference given that 1. it didn't fit and 2. it was already marked along it's full height.
I received a refund this morning but frustratingly it didn't include the 27 AUD (Australian Dollars), delivery cost. What a joke!
I chose this company over a number of UK options because their website seemed professional with the emphasis on fine tolerances etc. I can only say, don't waste your money and buy British!2016 Discovery Landmark

Ive ordered loads of bits from PowerfulUK over the years, for FL2, Evoque and D4 and have rarely had an issue with anything, but on the couple of odd occasions where there was a problem their customer service was 2nd to none.
Some companies across all industries could learn a lot from Powerful after sales IMHO2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten
