Solid Brake Pedal when Starting

Apologies of there's already a topic on this - but I regularly suffer from solid brake on coming back to the car for start up in morning and being left overnight on my MY12 D4 SDV6. To get it to start, I've to press it down really hard. It tends to be ok for a short period of hours after turning off. None apparent issues with spongy brakes other than that. Vaccuum seal gone on brake servo or something? TIA.

I would say an air leak into Servo. Mine did that and gradually worsened. Eventually I fitted a new Servo as I wasn't happy with a leak however small.

Cheers L319. That's kinda what I suspected. Expensive/big job to replace servo? Easy enough to do that DIY style?[/quote]

Have a search for best price or phone Advanced Factors. They don't have a price listed on their website.
