The tyre looks like the Cooper S/T - there is a 17ins one that is OK for the Disco3 245/70/R17 which gives 777mm rather than 760 mm so just over 1% speedo error.

I have just arranged to have that on my ES (due next month right when I am overseas Evil or Very Mad

Sorry... The "initial post" was taken without autorization from the french forum Landmania at the following adress...

http://www.landmania.com/forum/showthread....foud+disco

There is a second picture on the following page... Wink
According to the poster, those pictures were taken on a belgian Disco 3 HSE belonging to a LR Dealer who was "trying it out" in Morocco... The tyres are BFG mounted on 17" rim... The car did over 10.000km in Morocco without any failure...

That is all I know on the car pictured... Wink

Enjoy !

Those are definitely BFG AT TA/KO. I ran those on my Disco 2, great tires (except in mud).

The picture on the second page--does that look like a TDV6 badge? Hard to tell, on my monitor at work it is quite blurry.

I am still hoping I can fit 17" rims on my V8!!
