Power steering problem

A buddy of mine has some issues with the power steering on his car.
It started beeing real heavy on the the steering when the oil got hot while we were white laning in snow.
We drained the cannister, checked the sieve for debris and flushed the system with new oil.
That didn't help. Next we changed the power steering pump. That didn't help either.
We have now changed the steering rack and it still isn't good.
The power steering get jerky when you get near full lock on both sides and starts "fighting" back. Jerking the steering wheel. Censored
Any adult that can help us out with some tip?

Bad bearings in the shock absorber top mounts can cause similar problems.

They're ok. Lower and upper arms are also new or nearly new.

Have you checked the steering shaft uj's as they can make it heavy, especially the lower section.

Shaft is new. And it just makes it heavy. Now he has a kick back in the steering. He feels a force kicking back in the opposite direction he's moving the steering weel. Quite violently.

Would internal damage/blockage of the p/s pipes cause this?

What did you change the steering rack with?- the rack has a safety valve that blows when the steering is at or near full lock, if it didn’t a pipe would blow, this is when most power steering units fail or pipes burst and why you should never hold the steering on full lock, just back off a little, my guess is the replacement rack is faulty.
 It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
