Bluetooth Phone Connection? |
|
Hi All.
I’ve just acquired a 2009 (2010 MY) Disco 4 3ltr.
My iPhone 11 bluetooths to the vehicle, but SWMBO’s iPhone 12 doesn’t.
Is that because the 12 is too modern, or is it because there are too many Bluetooth devices?
As far as I can see, there’s only mine and one of the previous owner’s, but how do I check and clear all previous devices please?

You can have 8 phones connected at the same time so it's not that.
Have a read on page 311 in the Owners Handbook.

Thanks. I did have a quick look at the handbook, but couldn't see where it mentioned about clearing all previous devices.
I'll sit down and have a more careful read through. As I say, my iPhone11 connected straight away no problem, it would be SWMBO's iPhone12 which is the problem!
Gives her something to moan about my purchase.....

from memory it always connects to the last connected phone so try switching your phone off and try again?

I have a 2010 d4 and an iPhone 12pro max and it connected with no issues. Only phone though, music doesn’t work over that version of Bluetooth on the car it seems.
