Very reluctant sale of my G4 Discovery, due to looming property purchase. Time to screw the sensible head on and make some grown up decisions
1 of only 39 Discovery 3's prepped for the 2006 G4 Challenge. This particular car was used as a press vehicle in Laos, so was not subject to the extreme off roading of the main cars
Fitted with the Land Rover 4.4 AJV8 Petrol engine (which is also LEZ compliant!) and 6 speed ZF autobox
Black heated leather seats
Adaptive Xenon headlights
Front and rear park sensors
Sat Nav
6 disc CD changer with Harmon Kardon stereo
Completely standard except for heated steering wheel fitted, but standard wheel is included
Also comes with a spare set of Goodyear MT/R tyres, as used on the event (albeit on D4 rims) These tyres are no longer manufactured, and impossible to find!
Massive amount of history as pictured. Everything works, including the winch
Just had new wishbones, front brakes, wheel bearing, full service, gearbox flush and all transmission oils replaced, and a new battery
MOT passed in Sept 2022, and has covered less than 150 miles since. Will come with a new MOT for its new owner. Current mileage is just over 74,500 miles
It is missing some decals (available from the G4OC) and paintwork isn't perfect.
£18,000. No offers
I've been a bit lazy and used the previous owners pictures, but can get better pics for anyone interested My D3 Build Thread

It is a bit gutting. If I had somewhere to store it, I'd lock it away for a few years and let it appreciate in value (same as the Jag ) but long term sensibleness has won over
It's for either:
A new workshop
Or
A new house with enough space to build a workshop
The more we can put down as a deposit, the less we'll have to borrow, especially now with mortgages at 7%
Happy to store it, tax it and insure it for you Mike….oh, and drive it

I think you are undervaluing it
Good luck with the sale.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I think its priced accurately, given it does really need some paintwork to make it 100% cosmetically right
Given that there were some advertised recently at £22/23k with higher miles, I think I've priced it fairly
If anyone wants to offer more, I've no issues with that My D3 Build Thread
