Satnav and Bluetooth problem |
|
I have searched high and low for a reason why the satnav and bluetooth are misbehaving in my 2015 D4.
Intermittently, the Satnav will not accept destinations loses all TMC, previous destination data. At the same time, the list of paired bluetooth devices shows as blank and it is not possible to pair a device.
The Satnav maps show fine as does the location of the vehicle, but there is nothing else.
Does anyone have any clues as to why this should be happening?

I have now solved this problem.
It was happening in approx 10% starts. It appears to be a symptom of low battery. I solved a low battery problem and this symptom seems to have gone away.
I then had a low battery problem on my Range Rover L405 and exactly the same thing happened with the Bluetooth and Satnav. Recharged the battery and not happened since.
The phone is the real problem as the satnav is virtually useless due to the lack of current updates since 2019. Discovery 4 3.0 HSE Lux, 2015
