I noticed lack of acceleration around 2000rpm and then got P045C 'exhaust gas recirculation B control circuit - low' error with limp mode a few hundred miles later.
Reading up on that error though I think that suggests a sensor issue in the EGR rather than the valve actually being stuck open or closed? Doesn't it mean the sensor is reporting lower voltage than expected?
They were replaced with genuine valves about 13k miles ago so I'm reluctant to jump to conclusions about them needing replacing.
I have an icarsoft v2 but I don't think it can read live data from the EGRs unless I'm mistaken.
Appreciate any pointers/clarification of symptoms!

Control to me hints at the motor circuit fault.
If it was the sensor though, it’s not going to know if the butterfly is open or closed. Etc.
You could unplug the egr and see if you get codes that say “position or sensor “

Thanks - Can you clarify what you mean by motor circuit? Would the butterfly valve being in the wrong position cause the lack of acceleration then sudden power once revs get up higher?

The wires that connect to the egr stepper motor
I believe so.
You could blank that side to prove it
I believe a 2p coin can be used to blank
