Hi all, quick question, is the 2.7 diesel engine out of a jag XJ the same as the one in the S type and usable (after swapping a load of bits) for putting into a discovery. I’ve got my eye on a couple in Copart that are quite low mileage and also quite cheap.

Thanks for that, I thought they were just wanted confirmation, got to get an engine for my discovery it’s starting to look like an abandoned car on my drive !!🤣
