| MY12 HSE creaky / groaning steering wheel - really annoying |

Evening all, my steering wheel is creaking / groaning when either stationary or in motion and moving from left to right, it's driving me mad.
I bought the wheel in December, was off a MY14 and had perforated leather on the side bits as I preferred that to the smooth sides mine had. Both are heated so it was a straight swap.
Fast forward a few months and I get this odd creaking. Last week I had the wheel back off, it's not rubbing on anything, I've thoroughly investigated the clock spring and it's not that. Best way to describe its like a stretching plastic noise if that makes sense.
I have video'd it but can't seem to upload it here.
Any ideas welcomed! Cheers!
