New Battery fitted

Struggled starting for a while now in colder weather and may also be the cause of a few niggling electrical gremlins.. so Bit the bullet and got a good deal on a Yuasa HSB019 all fitted and performing well so far.
5 year warranty from Halfords.
Will see how it goes.
 Mods so far:

New wheel winch
Instrument upgrade (clock on dash)
D4 fascia + Garmin nuvi
LED side light, interior etc
New FL2 rear wheel arch seals
Parrot MKi9200 hands free kit

How was the cold start? I’m having to do a few glowplug lights on and off before I dare Turn the engine over at the moment.

Good now... but the other battery was struggling and would often throw up the ' special programs off ' message during cranking.

Rubbish starting in the cold?
You will kill your new battery as well. try the hot water or resistor trick
it works down to -3 as far as i know.
This will save your battery as it starts like it already warm.
It will however run a bit lumpy for 30 seconds then its fine.

Also if you have a iid tool see what speed it turns over before it starts (live values rpm) it should be over 200 rpm as this helps cold starting massively. Mine was 100 rpm and very bad at starting in the cold even with the resistor trick, changed the starter now turns over at 280rpm, it was an amazing transformation.
